They did get back to my emails, so I’ll give them that, but it wasn’t exactly quick. The replies were brief too, which left me wondering a few things. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but a little more clarity and follow-up would’ve gone a long way

The cover fits okay, but it’s definitely not perfect. A few of the corners stay kind of loose, and after a windy day I’d have to go out and fix it again. Annoying, especially when I had other stuff planned and ended up wasting time adjusting the cover instead

I used sealskincovers.com to shop for a cover, and to be fair, it mostly did what I needed it to do. The pages loaded without issues, and I was able to find my vehicle easily, which I appreciated. That said, the experience wasn’t perfect. There were a few too many popups, and some of the information felt a little scattered around the site. Checkout was manageable, but not exactly seamless. Overall, I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience, just one that could be made a lot smoother and easier to navigate.

"Decent support, just a bit slow"
Customer service did get back to me, but it took longer than I was hoping. They were nice and polite once they replied, so no complaints there. I just wish they’d sent updates a little quicker. Overall, not awful, but not amazing either.

"Decent cover, but the moisture is frustrating"
The cover fits okay and does seem sturdy, so that part is fine. But the breathability isn’t great. After just a few days, I noticed moisture building up underneath, which was annoying. For the price, I expected it to let air circulate better. It does the basic job, but I’m not thrilled with how damp it gets under there. Also, the constant reminders to leave a review were a bit much, way too aggressive for my liking.

Meh. The water beads up well at first, so I thought it was doing the job, but during a heavier rain, some moisture still managed to get through. Okay for light rain, but I wouldn’t fully trust it in a downpour...

"Seal Skin Covers last"

I tried a lot of covers at a point that I wanted to give up, a friend suggested Seal Skin and I ordered a small cover for a chair to try it out. It’s amazing, it fit perfectly and I’ve suggested it to many other friends, the price was reasonable and the product was 10/10

Can you please explain what went wrong? We had our 2016 Chevy Cruze covered up, but when we removed the cover after 2 weeks, we noticed that the headlight lens and tail lights had cracked.

“If your car was parked in the sun, there's a good chance it became excessively hot under the cover. Covers tend to exacerbate the situation rather than providing relief. They can damage your paint and become extremely hot, which is detrimental to the interior.”

Are Seal Skin and Boat Cover.com the same company? I bought a cover from Boat Cover.com and encountered some problems with it. I received an email from Seal Skin help desk.

“I strongly advise against purchasing anything from sealskin. Their products are known to be ill-fitting, and they have a reputation for refusing to provide replacements or refunds. Countless individuals have fallen victim to their poor customer service. In fact, I, along with many others, have reported them to the Better Business Bureau.”

“I would suggest considering purchasing from a different company. The durability of seal skin covers is quite disappointing, as they tend to last no longer than 8 months. Additionally, the warranty provided by the company is of very poor quality.”
